Important Update: Mobile Data Application and Career Reports

Dear KTG Mentorship Students

We are committed to ensuring that both you and your mentees have the necessary resources to succeed. In light of this, we have several important updates and reminders:

1. Mobile Data Applications: If you’re experiencing challenges in communication due to your mentee not having access to mobile data, please be aware that you can apply for mobile data on their behalf. Applications should be submitted before 08:00 AM to be processed on that day. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of your mentorship and is only applicable from Thursday, the 2nd of May, to Sunday, the 5th of May.

2. Reporting Unresponsive Mentees: For those who still do not have at least one responsive mentee, it is mandatory to complete the unresponsive mentee form again, even if you have already done so previously. This repeated measure ensures that we have the most current data to assist you effectively and that mentees with mobile data issues are not written off as unresponsive.

3. Communication Efforts: We understand that some of you have difficulties establishing communication with your mentees. Please rest assured that your efforts are acknowledged. If you have continuously attempted to reach your mentee and there is evidence of this, do not stress. We recognise these challenges and will make alternative arrangements where necessary.

4. Preliminary Career Reports: A gentle reminder that the deadline for the preliminary career reports is this Sunday, 5th May, at 23:59. Remember that submissions can take 1-3 working days to be reviewed. For those who have already submitted, your submissions have been reviewed. Please request an hours summary on the KTG website to confirm your submission was approved or to identify any required adjustments and resubmit before the deadline.

We appreciate your dedication and the efforts you are putting into this program. Your active participation and proactive communication are crucial to overcoming any hurdles in this mentorship journey. Thank you for your continued commitment and hard work.
