Hours Opportunity – Saturday 25th May

Dear KTG Students

We are excited to offer a tutoring opportunity this Saturday, May 25th, available to all students in our Computer Literacy, Coding, and MAP Programs. This is a great chance to engage in community service and earn 8 hours by tutoring Grade 8 learners. You can apply either individually or as a group.

Event Details:

  • Meeting Point: University Road Entrance
  • Departure Time: Please arrive before 08:30 AM as the bus departs promptly at this time. We cannot wait for latecomers.
  • Date: This Saturday, 25th May 2024.

Tutoring Topic for This Week: You will be preparing and teaching the Grade 8 “Algebraic Foundations” topic, which includes:

  • Understanding variables and expressions.
  • Simplifying algebraic expressions.
  • Introduction to solving simple linear equations.

Application Process: You can apply as an individual or as a group. Please apply by completing this form by 23h59 on Thursday evening. Applications are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

What to Bring:

  • Student ID card (Required for the allocation of your hours)
  • Water bottle (Stay hydrated)
  • Snack (Keep your energy levels up)
  • Tutoring materials (Bring all necessary materials to facilitate effective learning)
