Dear BVW Students,
We hope this message finds you well.
It has come to our attention that some students will be writing a test on the same day as the first BVW event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 11th April 2026. Please note that the arrangements for all BVW events, including the dates and times, are made in coordination with the school. As a result, these arrangements cannot be changed, and additional transport arrangements will unfortunately not be possible.
If you will be writing a test on that Saturday, kindly email Ms. Baloyi at nbaloyi@keepthatgoldshining.org and attach official proof of your test before 15h00 on the 20th of March 2026. While we will not be able to waive the required hours, students who provide legible proof will be given first preference for make-up hour opportunities that will take place later in the year.
Students who do NOT inform us in advance will be added to the bottom of the first-come, first-served list when seeking additional opportunities to complete their hours.
Please also be reminded that at least 40 hours must be completed by the end of the programme to pass JCP. Failure to meet this requirement will result in your automatically failing the JCP module, regardless of other assessments, as this is a prerequisite in the module.
