📢 Download Final Log Statement
Dear PUA Students,
If you have completed all your hours, you can download your Final Log Statement from the KTG website. This statement is one of the required evidence documents for your JCP module submission.
Please note the following:
- Some PUA students, who have prior permission from their project coordinator, will finish their hours after the official JCP deadline. This must be discussed with your PUA coordinator.
- In this case, you will submit your log statement with your current completed hours, and the marking of your group’s JCP submission will be delayed. Once completed, the PUA will inform the JCP department, and they will be able to download your final log statment directly.
- Your PUA coordinator will be completing your Community Partner Assessment, and will send you confirmation once it has been completed.
- All evidence documents are still due by the official JCP deadline, for EVERYONE.
- PUA Coordinators:
- Dr. Vasantha Moodley (Groenkloof campus)
- Ms. Mekidelay Belay (Mamelodi campus)
Once your hours are completed, you will be able to download your Log Statement from the KTG website.
⏳ Important: If any of your hours are not reflecting correctly, please contact Dr. Moodley (Groenkloof) or Ms. Belay (Mamelodi). They will need to update your hours on their system, after which it can take up to 24 hours (or after midnight) for changes to appear on the KTG system. Ensure you contact them for any issues, such as incorrect or missing hours, including training hours.
All the best with completing your hours and your final submissions!
Kind Regards
The KTG Team
📢 Attention All PUA Students
Dear PUA Students,
If you have completed all your hours, you can now download your Final Log Statement from the KTG website. This statement is one of the required evidence documents for your JCP module submission.
Please note the following:
- For all other KTG programmes, hours must be completed by 23h59 on 1 September (today).
- PUA students are an exception to this deadline.
- If you still have outstanding hours, you must contact:
- Dr. Vasantha Moodley (Groenkloof campus)
- Ms. Mekidelay Belay (Mamelodi campus)
to agree on an individual deadline and a completion plan. This is your responsibility – not the PUA coordinators’.
Ensure you contact them for any issues such as incorrect or missing hours, including training hours.
All the best with completing your hours!

📣 Important Update: Hours Logging System
Dear KTG-PUA Students
Our hours-tracking system has been upgraded! From now on, any adjustments made by the PUA team will appear in your hours summary within 24 hours (the sync runs nightly at 01:00 am).
What you need to do:
- Download your latest hours summary at your earliest convenience.
- Review it carefully. If anything looks incorrect or missing, submit a query via the contact form and choose “Hours Query.”
- If any Training Hours are missing from your summary, please let Dr Vasantha Moodley or Mrs Mekidela Belay know right away so they can update them on their side. This should reflect on your hours summary within 10 minutes of them updating it.
These improvements mean quicker corrections, less manual work, and greater transparency for everyone.
A quick reminder about PUA duties:
We know exam season is in full swing and academics come first. If you can’t make an assigned PUA shift—for any reason, including studying for an upcoming exam—please let the PUA coordinators know as early as possible.
✓ Check the weekly duty list (in your email or the WhatsApp group).
✓ If you’re scheduled on a day you can’t attend, just drop them a message so we can adjust the roster.
Thanks for staying accountable, keep warm, and good luck with the rest of your exams!
Warmest Regards
The KTG Team

📢 Important Announcement to All PUA Students
Dear PUA Students,
As part of your commitment to the program, it is your responsibility to stay informed, be punctual, and remain reliable in fulfilling your duties.
🔹 Know Your Schedule – Ensure that you are aware of all the dates you are expected to work. Keep track of your commitments and plan accordingly.
🔹 Be On Time & Prepared – Arriving late or unprepared affects not only you but also your team. Make sure you show up on time, ready to work, and fully engaged.
🔹 Reliability Matters – If you become unreliable, your duties may be reassigned to someone else, and this could make it difficult for you to complete the required 40 hours.
Take responsibility for yourself, stay accountable, and make the most of this opportunity! If you have any issues or concerns, communicate in advance to avoid unnecessary complications.
Let’s stay professional and committed. We are counting on you!
Best Regards
