{"id":79701,"date":"2026-08-14T12:48:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T10:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/keepthatgoldshining.org\/jcp\/?p=79701"},"modified":"2026-08-14T12:48:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T10:48:16","slug":"ktg-extra-hour-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/keepthatgoldshining.org\/jcp\/2026\/08\/14\/ktg-extra-hour-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"KTG Extra-Hour Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear JCP Students,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the JCP deadlines approach, we have been receiving an increasing number of emails regarding make-up events and opportunities to make up missed hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To avoid confusion and ensure that everyone has the same information, <strong>announcements will be sent out as extra-hour opportunities become available<\/strong>. Please keep an eye on your emails for these announcements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As stated in the Project Guide, <strong>only a single 8-hour catch-up day<\/strong> will be available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The 8-hour catch-up day may be used if you have missed <strong>one Saturday<\/strong> of your session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have missed more than one Saturday, there is no guarantee that you will be able to make up all the required hours, and you may therefore fail JCP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While it is not KTG&#8217;s responsibility to provide multiple make-up opportunities, we will do our best to provide additional opportunities where possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please remember that the purpose of having <strong>multiple KTG sessions<\/strong> was to allow you to select sessions that best fit your academic and personal timetables. Dates that could potentially clash with test weeks, public holidays, and other university commitments were communicated well in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, please plan accordingly and take responsibility for the sessions you registered for. <strong>Queries regarding the timing of future make-up events will not be responded to.<\/strong> The details of each available opportunity, including the date and time, will be communicated when the event is announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We appreciate your cooperation and encourage everyone to make use of the opportunities provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kind regards,<br><strong>The KTG Team<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear JCP Students, As the JCP deadlines approach, we have been receiving an increasing number of emails regarding make-up events and opportunities to make up missed hours.
