Our annual Building Victorious Women (BVW) Event will be hosted at Thulaganyo Junior Secondary School on the 5th of August. The event aims to create an environment in which more experienced individual women can lead, empower and help to grow the younger generation of women while guiding them to a brighter future. This is especially important when it comes to inspiring more women of tomorrow to consider careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which can benefit greatly from a broader female perspective.
This year we are privileged to have Professor Kris Marsh as a guest speaker for the event.
Additionally, we will be gifting care packages to the young women who attend the event which will include sanitary pads for them as many of these girls do not have access to sanitary pads or tampons and are forced to miss school during their periods.
