Today marked a thrilling day for grade 6 students at our coding and robotics event, designed to spark a passion for engineering and technology. The event was a blend of learning and excitement, emphasising the increasing importance of engineering in our digital world.
A Day of Discovery and Innovation
The morning began with an introductory coding workshop, where students learned the basics and wrote their first lines of code. The session progressed to hands-on robotics, where students built and programmed robots, demonstrating the real-world applications of coding.
Highlights of the Event
A key moment was the group project, where teams used their robots to tackle challenges, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. The students also used TinkerCAD to create digital models, enhancing their understanding of technology in practical scenarios.
