Dear KTG Students
We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to earn JCP hours by assisting with the upcoming Eskom Expo quality testing at regional events. This is a fantastic way to gain valuable experience while contributing to a prominent educational initiative.
As a KTG student, you will be limited to a maximum of 2 Eskom Expo Events to make up for hours you might have missed from your programme session.
Each event is limited to 12 students and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please find the details of the events below:
Gauteng South Regional Expo
Date: 24 July
Time: 12:00 – 16:00 (Project Setup and Project Approval)
Venue: University of Johannesburg Soweto Campus, Imbizo Hall
Johannesburg Regional Expo
Date: 31 July
Time: 11:00 – 16:00 (Project Setup and Project Approval)
Venue: Wits University Flower Hall
Northern Gauteng Regional Expo
Date: 7 August
Time: 12:00 – 16:00 (Project Setup and Project Approval)
Venue: Tshwane University of Technology, Theunis Bester Hall
Ekurhuleni Regional Expo
Date: 14 August
Time: 12:00 – 16:00 (Project Setup and Project Approval)
Venue: Hoërskool Jeugland
Transport:
Transport will be arranged from the University of Pretoria for each of the events. The transport will depart UP 2 hours before the start of the event and will return shortly after the event.
Compensation:
You will earn 6 hours for each event you participate in. Again, as a KTG student, you can only attend a maximum of 2 of these events.
Additional Benefits:
Meals will be provided at each event.
